Welcoming Collage
As you enter the main part of the Main Building from the North Front, you’re greeted with a collage on the walls featuring images relating to the University, advertising it with slogans such as ‘With age comes respect’, ‘Looking after the future’, ‘Finding community within diversity’, and ‘A reputation for innovation’.

Of course, these used to be notice boards where exam results would go up (in the pre-Cambrian era before WebSurf ;) ). Ah, I remember having to trudge over on a regular basis and check if my results were up yet only to leave disappointed.
I think the collage went up, um, about three or four years ago since the boards weren’t used any more since exam results are now published electronically.
