Happy Easter! Spring Is (Almost) Here!

I said almost a month back that once the yellow daffodils start popping up around campus, it’s officially Spring in Glasgow. Well, it’s Good Friday today and there are daffodils around campus. These fine specimens were on University Gardens, just in front of the Queen Margaret Union (which you can see in the background). It’s actually this time of the year when University Gardens actually, kinda, looks like a garden, with the daffodils taking over. Slowly.
I’d like to say at this point that it’s officially Springtime, but it really doesn’t feel like it yet. Let’s give it a few days. Maybe a week or two.
