Exams, Exams, Exams

Had my first exam of the term today, in the Main Building’s Bute Hall. I snapped this photo just after most people had left the room, hence the empty seats, the evidence of sweat poured and stress experienced, hand cramps, and discarded broken pens (mine exploded in my hand as I wrote the very first word, good start).
It’s a little intimidating to have an exam in Bute Hall. The large ornamental stained glass windows, the vaulted ceiling, the grand organ at one end, the slight echo from every cough, all distractions to waste your precious time whenever your attention sways and your eyes are diverted from your papers.
Good luck with your exams!

Good luck Jani – hope the rest of them go well, and hope that the exploding pen turned out to be a good omen!
