Knowledge and Inspiration

On the side of the Sir Alexander Stone Building on University Gardens sits this little sculpture statue thingy, one which you might have seen a few dozen times, if you’ve ever been on University Gardens. It’s called Knowledge and Inspiration, by Walter Prichard, and was completed in 1960. Knowledge is represented by the man sitting down and Inspiration by the woman above him.

A sculpture named Knowledge and Inspiration is rather fitting on University grounds, don’t you think?
