I was planning on posting this photo of the front of the Memorial Chapel, in keeping with the photos of the past few days, when I realized that today was D-Day. Perfect timing on picking this photo to feature, and a fitting subject on D-Day, as the Memorial Chapel, sometimes referred to as the War Memorial Chapel, was dedicated to the students and staff of the University who fell in the two World Wars.

The relief of St Mungo (or St Kentigern, whichever you prefer) featured on Friday is visible at the very top and centre of the this facade of the Chapel.
