In addition to four years of studying and research, lectures and essays, parties and societies, many students also involve themselves in further political activity. This political activity manifests itself through several avenues, such as running for the board of one of the many unions on campus, or through anti-war demonstrations and occupations, as well as an attempt at a flash mob to show support for human rights. I will spend this week putting up a few photos of these extracurricular political activities that took place on campus during the last academic year.

The above is from early March this year, when the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) held their elections on March 4th and 5th. All three of the candidates in the signs above won the position they were running for.

    Hehe nominations open on October 1st and close on the 9th, with the election being on the 21st.
