Your University, One Photo at a Time

Gregory Building at Night

Gregory Building at Night

The Gregory Building, in the shadow of the Boyd Orr Building, just next to Ashton Lane, contains the Department of Geographical and Earth Sciences, the Department of Archaeology, and GUARD (the Glasgow University Archaeological Research Division.

The stone object outside the Gregory Building is a popular photography spot for many who pass by, especially after having visited some of the bars down on Ashton Lane. With that I mean that it’s common to see someone “emerging” from the hole in the centre of the stone object which somewhat resembles a certain part of the female anatomy. Psychology students, go nuts with analysing that.

The next few days will be tricky because I’m moving into a new flat and tomorrow is the pre-scheduled introduction of a reoccurring Theme Day called ABC Sundae, for which I haven’t taken the photo for yet, and I’ll be devoid of the interwebs for an indefinite period of time.

A photo will still appear every single day, worry not.

As Freshers’ Week ’09 is just around the corner, help me out by having your say in the poll below!

[Poll #4: Which Student Union(s) do you belong to (or use to belong to)?]
