Your University, One Photo at a Time

Barclay Medical Centre

Barclay Medical Centre

In addition to the John Smith’s Bookshop featured yesterday, there is another new service based on the ground floor of the Fraser Building: the Barclay Medical Centre. One of the first things all new students must do is register with a GP, a doctor’s surgery, somewhere close to where they live. The University website offers an exhaustive list of some of the closest medical practises in the area surrounding the University. The list is here. Now students can also join a General Practitioners located within the university campus itself. Would have been handy last year when I lived around the corner from the Fraser Building, but you can’t always win. (I now live around the corner from the GP I joined last year, so can’t complain.)

You can find the Barclay Medical Centre website at

As Freshers’ Week ’09 is just around the corner, help me out by having your say in the poll below!
